Starting WordHeat

When I wanted to start a website back in 2022, I never expected the journey to unfold as it did. My first project, "Jarl4772," emerged from my love for software and creating games. It began as a hub where visitors could download my games and software. This hobby turned into a 3 year long project of my hobbies.
As time went on, my vision began to change. I felt the need to focus solely on showcasing my games. What started as a personal project began to feel more like a corporate company. I grabbed on to the pressure to deliver polished products while maintaining a professional image. This shift in perspective was subtle yet stressful, and I didn't fully embrace it at the time.
Change can be difficult, I found myself feeling more like a CEO than an individual creator. The initial spark that motivated me started to fade. Recognizing that the essence of my work was being overshadowed by expectations was tough. I started talking to my friend Abigail, which made me think of shutting the website down, eventually, I made the hard choice to shut down Jarl4772 earlier this year.

That decision gave me a breath of fresh air. I realized that what I truly wanted was a personal site reflecting my journey—not just my games or software. I yearned for a space where I could express my creativity freely, explore various projects, and share them with friends, family, and visitors alike. Thus, WordHeat was created.
WordHeat is much more than just a website; it’s a mirror of my personal journey through development and creativity. I see it as a personal hub where ideas flow and inspiration thrives. By adopting this new vision, I’ve given myself the freedom to explore diverse projects—whether they are games, writing, or artwork. My goal is to connect with visitors on a personal level and cultivate a small community created with genuine passion.
Gone are the days when I wrapped around by corporate ideas. Now, I'm working with my identity as a creator. WordHeat has become my playground, a space where I can express my imagination without constraints.
If you're starting your own journey, remember to embrace yourself and let your passion guide you. The possibilities are endless, and I look forward to sharing this journey with you all!
